About the Book
Holiness sometimes seems like an abstract ideal that is unattainable for believers. We tend to equate doing good with being holy or seeking to eliminate things in our lives that appear “unholy.” The beautiful aspect of God’s call to holy living is that God provides the Holy Spirit, the enabling conduit to the everyday practice in holy living. Through this devotional, Cathee helps believers understand the idea of holiness, as well as theological concepts surrounding holy living, such as the Trinity, the Church, and discipleship. She encourages and challenges readers with stories of hope, redemption, healing, forgiveness, suffering, and the way of the crucified life, which lead to a life of wholeness and holiness in and through Jesus Christ. Each day offers a reflection and contemplation of Scripture, a prayer, and questions of self-examination. The Highway to Holiness is intentional and instructional for holy living!
