A Second Look At The Book of Daniel

First: A person obtains knowledge, then they can get understanding. Understanding is a gift of the Holy Spirit. We must first ask the Holy Spirit for it, then seek it, then knock (study) for the door (mind) to be opened. Then, as God grants us, we can have wisdom which is also a gift of the Holy Spirit. Wisdom is the proper application and use of that understanding and knowledge. So, first comes knowledge, then understanding, then wisdom. I also note that just because we have knowledge does not mean that we will obtain understanding. And, even if and when we do obtain understanding, it does not guarantee us that we will have wisdom or be able to use it. I have known some very knowledgeable people who are very unwise and lack any understanding of what they know, especially the proper application and use of their knowledge.
