Introduction When you pick up a book, you read the back cover to find out what the book is about. You read about the author, and you read reviews of what others say about the book. You read the intro and if you get this far without losing interest, you start the first chapter. The The first chapter is of extreme importance. You either become drawn in to the book or put the book down. I love a book that has the power to draw me in. I love to dive deeper into the pages and to find it hard to pace myself getting to the last chapter. I love to be consumed by the story and want to share it with my friends, so they can be drawn in with me. A good book makes you desire to finish it and might even tempt you to read the last chapter, before you read the middle pages. You can’t really say you have read the book if you skip to the end. The middle is where the intimacy is. The beginning, middle and end of a book, that has the ability to impact you in ways that you can’t forget is a true treasure. My story is a reflection of a book (1) that has taught me intimacy, from a friend that draws me into knowing Him and longs for me to share His friendship with you. “Meet Me in the Middle” is a precious treasure you’ll want to open and read more than once. It was written to reminds us of that which we so often lose sight-- intimacy with the Lord is His desire for each of us, His children. That intimacy doesn’t just happen, however, it requires intentionality--letting go of the things that hold us back and grasping His hand in friendship. Each chapter is written to help us see that embracing intimacy isn’t easy, but doing so rewards us with the present and eternal joy of deep fellowship with our greatest Friend, Jesus through keeping in step with the Holy Spirit.
This story is a reflection of the book that has taught me intimacy, and it comes from a friend who draws me into knowing Him. He longs for me to share His friendship with you. The middle is where intimacy reaches heaven.

Mandy Fowler and Her husband George understand what it means to live life to its fullest and the blessings it brings to you when you take your commitment to God and each other seriously. Understanding intimacy has come from staying true to their vows to each other over 35 years ago. For better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and in health, until death do they part has all been tested and has held steadfast anchored strongly in their faith in Gods perfect love. Understanding Gods perfect love over them in both blessings and trials has given them the power to share that same love with the world.
