Ladies, I’m so excited to embark on this journey with you, one that began as a personal journey a few years ago as I sensed a time of urgency approaching. A time was coming that would require us to respond decisively to the Lord’s purpose for our lives as co-contributors and co-warriors in advancing The Kingdom here on earth. That time is now. I am sensing a pivotal shift and the need for our courage and strength to be fortified by God’s power and grace. This is not a corporate journey where some do what it takes for the benefit of others. Rather, this is an individual invitation to journey to a place of inner revival and fresh fire that will transform each one of you forever if you truly embrace it.
You must take up a strong position in His army as an active member of His Body and Church, operating under His Headship. After all, He is spending your lifetime training, grooming, and developing you as part of His faithful betrothed, living on this side of His Kingdom until He returns. Revelation 19:6-7 NIV speaks of a time when we will become the righteous Bride of Christ. “Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” Hallelujah indeed! It’s time to prepare. It’s time to choose so we are not sitting on the fence between this world and The Kingdom. It’s time to fortify an unwavering faith, so that we are not lukewarm or tepid (Rev 3:14-22). Rather, we must be ready and waiting for our coming King to return (Matthew 25:1-13).
It is in the preparation that you, dear Daughter of The Most High, have to fully know who He created you to be, what your calling is, and by whose power and might you get to walk that out, unafraid and unashamed. You are being watched by the world whether you know it or not. You should feel a sense of gratitude knowing that every day you get up, you have another opportunity to show what it is to stand strong in your faith and in His love. You get to show the world what boldness, courage and strength look like when standing next to God who has the power to do it all. The book of Ephesians will serve as our foundation as we build the framework of being who He called us to be and how we, as His body, can prepare for His coming. My prayer is that through this study you will come to know who you are, to whom you belong, and how to be His faithful betrothed here on earth. We must prepare to be the mighty Warrior Bride that Christ Himself has called us to be, for His coming Kingdom.
When I heard the Lord asking me to write this study and teach women how to be courageous, I started looking through my journals from the last five years. I was astonished to see how strategically the Lord had begun speaking to me and preparing me for this topic. Personally, God has done a lot within me to bring me to a place of boldness and strength in my life. My biggest downfall was being a people pleaser and fearing failure. The idea of disappointing others and looking like a fool was mortifying to me. I have worked hard to fight these battles throughout my life and with every one of them, I have gained greater strength and courage through Him. In this last year, the Lord has switched my purpose and focus as I have heard Him calling me to yet bolder and more brazen places in my life. They have a lot less to do with me and a lot to do with His will, in advancing His Kingdom. My pivotal moment came not too long ago when I asked the Lord what He was saying to His Church, His Bride.
Below I have written the words I heard Him say to me. This will be the framework for our study:
