About the Book

At Calvary salvation was by grace alone through faith. This began with the two thieves being crucified beside Jesus. One thief mocked Jesus; while the other thief reminded him they were guilty. Believing Jesus was the King of the Jews, that thief asked Him, “Remember me when thou cometh into Thy kingdom” (Luke 23:42). Without any repentance, water baptism or works Jesus replied, “Verily I say unto thee, Today thou shalt be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43). Because Jesus came to his own and the Jewish leaders did not receive him, the apostle Paul went to the Gentiles. It’s been two thousand years since that time meaning its time for the church to be raptured. This will be followed by the tribulation then Jesus’ coming with the saints riding on white horses as King of kings and Lord of lords to destroy evil and sit on the Great White throne. Next is the wedding supper of the Lamb and thousand-year Kingdom.

About the Author

My coming-to Jesus wasn’t like those who had a visitation from Jesus, but was a span over many years that began in Sunday school when I sang with the other children, “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” This was some time during the mid-1940s when WWII was winding down. From that time my brother and I with father and mother attended church every Sunday except for rare occasions. I was blessed as the seed of God’s Word was planted in my heart. I had no idea that I would be raised up “for such a time as this.” (Esther 4:14e). Looking back, I understood this was the case when I survived certain death.
Of significance was when I survived an un- survivable auto crash, another was when I elected not to go on a trip with two friends. The airliner crashed killing all aboard. Then there was when the engine blew up in my airplane when flying through unknown territory and a grass field was just ahead where I landed without harm to me or the airplane.
During my later years in high school, I worked in the family business that manufactured gas- and water-well drilling tools and equipment. During my high school years, I worked as a welder and metal fabricator in the family business. I continued working for another two years, then took a placement test to determine what should be my profession. The results were first, engineering, then a preacher, which was shocking. So I went into mechanical engineering at Marshall University, got married graduated with honors. I then took a job with Ford Motor Company as a design engineer, worked in the Advanced Engineering Department and got my Professional Engineering License. By that time, we had two children, a house and a company where we built prototype cars, some of which were for racing. At this point God’s providence stepped into my life. A book publisher in Tucson, Arizona contacted me about writing and editing automotive books. With that still voice saying, “ go,”, we packed up and went to the desert, southwest. This would be a major change in my life.
From the desert and life in it, to the mountains and canyons, I saw God’s creation from a different perspective. That and my work as an author, editor and publisher that resulted in writing ten books and publishing some fifty more that prepared me to study and write about Jesus with the guidance of the Holy Spirit in miraculous ways. However, I found that things didn’t come easy but “all things work together for good to them that love God …” (Romans 8:28b) both good and bad. A very good thing happened when we discovered a very small church that hired a new minister near the time we moved into our new house in Tucson. Typically, there were just over three-hundred people at worship. But after fifteen years there over three thousand at each service and Bible study classes were overflowing. Then came a bad thing. That still small voice told me to return east because my father had cancer and my publishing company sold the business.
It was no coincidence one of my author’s called to inform me there was an opening for a teacher at the community college in Hickory, NC. On the way I received word father died, which turned out to be the most difficult time of my life. Then after two years mother was diagnosed with heart failure. Because she couldn’t care for herself we put her under Hospice Care in a room at my new house where she died two weeks later. My family and I were at her bedside. Then came a miracle.
After being declared dead she opened her eyes, she smiled saying., “I saw God.” This bolstered our faith, especially mine.
A few years later after developing a hunger for God’s Word I earned a degree from the Institute of Jewish Christian Studies where I was taught by two Messianic Jews, Dr. Zola Levitt and Dr. Jeffrey Seif. I then took a pilgrimage Journey to Israel where I could see where Jesus and the disciples walked in the land of the Bible.. We visited such places as Caesarea, Nazareth and Capernaum and the Valley of Megido where the war of Armagedon will be, then down the Jordan River Valley to Jericho and up to Jerusalem where I stood on the Mount of Olives where Jesus will return in That Day and looked across the valley where Jesus walked. Since then I’ve devoted by time to writing.
