About the Book
When loss devastates your world, where do you turn for healing?
In God’s New Way: A Journey to Understanding, Marion Dean Castleberry shares an intimate and faith-filled Christian grief journey after losing her mother and husband within seven months. Suddenly alone after 31 years of marriage, she turned to her decades-long spiritual practice: her prayer journal. Through this deep spiritual dialogue, she began to process the pain and wrestle with her questions. What unfolded was a powerful testimony of healing, guided by scripture, spiritual dreams, and the unwavering presence of God.
With honesty and vulnerability, Castleberry charts the raw, unpredictable road of grieving the loss of a spouse. Drawing from personal memoir entries, biblical truth, and insights from trusted Christian authors, she describes the emotional exile of sorrow and the surprising moments of comfort that emerged through her faith. Each chapter reflects her walk with God through suffering and reveals a divine message. Even in our deepest pain, God is preparing a new way that is full of hope, renewal, and purpose.
This spiritual memoir is for anyone grieving a loved one, questioning God's timing, or seeking comfort through scripture. Let it be your companion on the road to understanding.
For readers searching for Christian grief journey, hope after loss, healing through God’s word, or spiritual memoir, this book offers truth, comfort, and a promise: you are never alone.
