Chloe frowned, “Why do you have chickens in the city Grammy?” Grammy P smoothed Chloe’s rumpled pigtails. “Tomorrow after breakfast I will show you why I have chickens in the city.” Chloe squeezed her eyes tight shut. “I don’t think I can wait ‘til then,” she whispered. “Think, think, think. See if you can if you can think of an answer,” Grammy patted Chloe’s head.

About the Book
Chloe has a BIG question. She wonders why her Grammy would ever have chickens when she lives in a BIG city. Chloe is about to have a BIG surprise when she visits Grammy P.
About the Author
She loved books and stories, but someone told her that she needed a real job in life. So she decided to go to school to be a nurse. In nursing school, she was assigned to write a Care Study relating to that area of study. She wrote her studies as a story. A nursing instructor commented on the style of writing as a story, telling her to expand her writing. She started writing professional journal articles for “Today’s OR Nurse” magazine and others.
After winning first place in the Federation of Woman’s Club short story contest, she completed the Institute of Children’s Literature course. She started selling children’s stories to Scripture Press and others. Her joy in reading and writing is alive and well. Come join in this journey.
