Those who are battling an illness may know that their suffering is beyond painful. But God has a great purpose for your pain and suffering. He wants you to use it to be a blessing to someone else. God never wastes anything. After you have suffered a little while God has a promise to strengthen and establish you, that is, making you what you were meant to be. Sometimes life gets in the way and our dreams fall by the wayside and we find ourselves wandering in life. God can bring us to our destination and make those dreams come to pass.

About the Author
April Owen is a kitchen designer and business owner who felt called to write devotionals to encourage women from various walks of life. After graduating from Cornell University, she embarked on an unexpected and challenging journey that led her to pursue a master’s degree in Biblical counseling. It was only after her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis that she decided to pause from the chaos of life and express her heart and offer encouragement in the pages of “God’s Goodness in the Midst of Devastation*.
