The reason I called this book "The Serpents Final Strike” is because of the fact that most of the time, if someone considers taking their own life, it is because the toxin of Satan's helpers (demons) has been at work, and sometimes it is a fast-acting emotional venom, sometimes it is a slow acting venom, negative thoughts that linger for months, maybe years. If someone receives some sudden bad news or have an event that is very emotionally traumatic, which would be a bite from something like a Gaboon Viper, a snake found further north on the continent of Africa than where I was. It has really long fangs and a deadly poison, and if it bites, it injects a high amount of venom, so the pain is immediate and intense (one of the things I talk about later in the book is people who lose a lot of money, for example, when the stock market has crashes, there is a rise in suicide rates because people lost so much of what they worked for). When pain comes to us, our reaction may be irrational, so if people were to give themselves a chance to calm down and recover from whatever just happened, they could find somewhere to get some help. I tell people that human life consists of a mental chess match against demons, many thoughts that go through your brain are put there as a form of attack from a demon, they saw an opening, and made a move, so we have to be aware of what is happening, especially with the thoughts that go through our mind. Our reaction to their move should be based on 2 Corinthains 10:5, the NIV says “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” because the human mind is going “hear” in their mind the attack, and either ignore it, or take it to heart in the moment, or dwell on it and let it steer their next move, but the best option is to counterattack. This is where if you are child of God, the Holy Spirit in you may speak a word of instruction, he sees the whole chessboard and can guide your next move or provide instructions or empower a plan to deal with the attack, but many Christians don’t have faith in such a thing happening. Furthermore, their mind has many voices from the enemy, and few people have experience tuning into the words of God.

About the Book
The Serpent’s Final Strike was written to show people that certain thoughts in their mind is an attack from the devil. Any thought that the world is better off without you is from a spiritual adversary. This book is meant to show people that suicidal thoughts are not natural, but they are experienced because the devil found a way to gain influence into their mind. Identifying the source of the thoughts and taking proper authority over the forces of darkness is going to prevent recurring ideas that push you towards depriving the world of the blessing you truly are. It also is meant to encourage you to live as the blessing you are and help you see the blessings around you. The devil has a lot of tricks he uses against people, and some things are a natural part of life, but suicide has no logical scientific explanation that truly makes sense. This means suicide is the result of the devil’s impact on you, and I believe you have picked this up because God wants to show you what is influencing your mind to entertain such ideas, either because you wish to help other people deal with their attacks, or you wish to better deal what may be attacking your own mind. Identifying the source of our thoughts can be done when we accept we have multiple sources for those thoughts, our human brain, for Christians, there is the Holy Spirit, and everyone also gets thoughts planted by demons, something I once would have never thought possible. Suicide is a form of temptation that people don’t recognize comes because a spiritual force is exerting influence. This book is designed to train you to combat those forces in a way science won’t provide. Once we have the right knowledge, winning battles of this type gets easier with practice and the Holy Spirit’s help and the authority Jesus provides.

Ordinary Guy is the pen name (obviously!) of someone who doesn’t want a lot of attention and knows that the work they produce was done with God’s help. He just wants to share with others what he has learned in life, and knows that others may benefit from his experiences.
