Ace and the Growing Family seeks to help kids understand how the process of preparing to adopt a child looks. As we tag along with Ace, we get to see through his eyes what it looks like to watch your parents prepare to bring home a child through adoption. Although he is confused at first, Ace eventually learns what bringing home a child can look like.
About the Author
Brittany Javier is a mom blessed by adoption who understands the adoption process and seeks to bring light to the experiences children may encounter. She employs her knowledge of
psychology and her experience as an educator to reach kids in an accessible way. When she’s not writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Miguel; their four sons; and their four dogs. She and her family currently live in North Carolina
