General Gordon believed that Leviticus one contained topographical hint as to the location of Calvary around Jerusalem . "He will kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord and the Priest. Aron's sons shall sprinkle its blood all around the altar. Gordon interpreted this verse to mean that Christ, the prototype, must have been slain north of the "altar." Skull Hill was north of the altae." Leviticus 1:11.
Then we jump to Genesis 22:14 (NASV.) Abraham called the name of the place, "The Lord Will Provide," as it is said today , "IN" the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." (not on). The name for God in this text is "Jehovah Jireh" which means "The Lord Provides."
General Gordon used to debate the Rabbis of his day (the late 1800's) as to the true location of the ark of the covenant. They said it was under the Dome of the Rock, but he told them it was under the true altar. If we can find the true altar it will pave the way to find the ark of the covenant. Or we can say, find the ark of the covenant and it will pave the way to finding the true crucifixion location.
I want to point out that different translations of the book of Maccabees vary some as to content but this is from the GNTB text.1. We know from the records that Jeremiah the prophet instructed the people who were taken in exile to hide some of the fire from the altar, as we had mentioned. 2. We know that he taught God's law and warned them not to be deceived by the ornamented gold and silver idols which they would see in the land of exile, 3. And he urged them never to abandon the Law. 4.These same records also tell us that Jeremiah, acting under divine guidance, commanded the tent of the Lord's presence and the box to follow him to the mountain where Moses looked down on the land which God had promised his people. 5. When Jeremiah got to the mountain, he found a huge cave and there Some he hid the tent of the Lord's presence, the covenant box, the altar of incense. Then he sealed the entrance. 6. Some of Jeremiah's friends tried to follow him and mark the way, but they could not find the cave. 7. When Jeremiah learned what they had done, he reprimanded them saying NO ONE MUST KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACEuntil God gathers his people together again and shows mercy. 8. At that time he will reveal where these things are hidden, and the dazzling light cof his presence will be seen in the cloud, as it was in the time of Moses and on the occasion when Soloman that the temple might be dedicated in Holy splendeo. I would not put too much faith in it with a couple exceptions . I do believe that Jeremiah did hide the ark of the covenant in a cave when Nebuchadnezzar's army put a siege and surrounded Jerusalem. THIS CAVE JEREMIAH NEW WELL, EVEN TODAY IT IS CALLED JEREMIAH'S GROTTO.
The ark of the covenant is not the ark of A covenant but the ark of The covenant and God always keeps His Covenant. There are eight covenants in the scriptures according to the scholars. The reason the ark of the covenant is so important is because Christ's blood on the Mercy Seat made the New Covenant possible, with out this act there would be no New Covenant.
Why This Topic Is Important
Let me sum up why this topic is so important. It is contrary to the scriptures to say that Christ's Blood did not have to be applied. It is contrary to the sanctuary service model. It is contrary to the Passover model. Blood going into the ground paying for our sins is unheard of in the bible. Daniel 9:24 is history not future prophecy. Hebrews 9:23 is also history. It is my belief that both of these verses were fulfilled on April 3, 33 AD. And it falls within the 70 weeks of Daniel, actually the 69 weeks of Daniel. Remember the last week or the 70th week (7 years) falls in the tribulation period. Until the church know what really happened at the crucifixion it will continue to escape them.

About the Book
This is a book about the crucifixion and its hidden message that the overall church is unaware of. I never wanted it to be about a person or even the ark of the covenant. I wanted the church and the theologians to see the possibility of a secret message or mystery that allowed the New Covenant and also allowed us entrance into the Kingdom of God. Just to look or analyze and consider the evidence which I have presented in this book, that”s all. When I pieced the evidence of this story together how God orchestrated every detail, it deeped my relationship with Him.
It is my goal and the primary reason for writing this book is when a non christain reads it they will come to Christ. I am especially thinking of the Jewish people, who have rejected the God of Israel, Isaac and Jacob. This is the part I don’t understand? This hidden knowledge would be a deal maker for especially the Jewish people. But because the experts don’t even consider the evidence, it has become a deal breaker.
When you see the evidence and analysis of Christ’s blood I am hoping the reader will fall into the believers column that Christ’s blood at Calvary was a ransom of the whole human race.

The author is a layman who has researched his whole life. At different times, he has been an elder, a chairman of a missions committee, and in charge of a Navigator Christian discipleship at a large Bible church. He had a ministry at the local community hospital where he discipled and trained people on how to share their faith.
