OPPOSED
BEING BORN WITH AN ENEMY IS THE LIFE WE WERE GIVEN;
TRULY UNAWARE OF THE DANGER IN THE LIVES WE ARE LIVING.
UNTIL THAT DAY WE RECEIVE THE TRUTH AND REVELATION;
THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN MOVING DAILY TO SAVE THIS NATION.
SOME ASK, “IF HE IS GOD, WHY LET IT HAPPEN AT ALL?”;
IT IS THAT VERY MINDSET THAT IS CAUSING US AS A PEOPLE TO FALL.
SURE GOD COULD SHUT IT DOWN;
TO SHOW THE ENEMY IS TRULY A CLOWN.
GOD IS A PERFECT GENTLEMAN AND WOULD RATHER GIVE US THE CHOICE;
SEEING AS WE ALL HAVE AN ISSUE WHEN SOMEONE TRIES TO SILENCE OUR VOICE.
IN HIM WE ARE SAFE AND NO ONE CAN COME AGAINST US;
OUR ENEMIES TREMBLE AT THE NAME JESUS!

About the Book
This book is a continuation from the first, “This One Thing”. It continues along the journey of surrender and reveals much of what comes in the midst. The author is hopeful the words in these poems will encourage us as well as keep us close to GOD through the thick of it!
About the Author
Andrea Strecker has faced some of life’s most challenging obstacles as a mother, daughter, sister, friend and US Navy Veteran. Through these obstacles she held tightly to GOD, as He kept her every step of the way. All within six months, she lost one of her older brothers, two months later her Father, and four months later her 16 year old son, Anthony, Jr. The author stands firm in her faith and the belief that GOD makes no mistakes and is pressing on to the High Calling!
