Great News From God!

So, I got very depressed. I started wondering how this whole project could have just fizzled out into nothing. I started wondering if the book had really been God's idea. In spite of God having spoken audibly to me and in spite of all the miracles I had witnessed, I was overcome with questions and confusion. I realized that I did not really have very strong faith after all. Then, on another night as I sat in my chair watching TV with my wife, I got another message in my head. This second message I got was to read about Elijah. I stopped what I was doing and picked up a Bible. I started going through it looking for the book of Elijah. I knew it had to be in The Old Testament, but I could not find it. Finally, I typed into the computer, "Where is Elijah in the Bible?" When the answer popped up, I saw why I had not been able to find the book of Elijah. There is no book of Elijah! Elijah's story is found in 1 Kings 17-19 and 2 Kings 1-2. Naturally, I was anxious to read it. I wanted to see why God had given me the message to read it.

About the Author
Steve Dugan was born in 1950 in McColl, South Carolina. He and his wife, Julie, got married in 1970. They have two children and two grandchildren. During his life he has had struggles, highs and lows. But, he has been thankful to God for His goodness in both the low times and in the high times. He has served in the Army Reserve, as a campaign aide to former President Jimmy Carter, as a Congressional staffer, and as a practicing attorney.
