About the Author

Hello, I am Kate Newton. A proud native Texan, I live in the Houston metro with my husband and two sweet girls. If you don’t find me in Houston eating Tex-Mex, you can find me enjoying the mountains of Colorado or adding stamps to my passport. I have a marketing degree from Lamar University, and I am a credentialed minister in the Houston area. This book is a gift of love to my children. As they read it and grow, I pray that they always remember and know who God created them to be. When developing this story, I knew I wanted to collaborate with the wonderful and talented Sunni Gonzales. It has been a pure joy to get to create with her. My prayer is that this book reminds every reader, big or small, that they are wonderfully made by God.
