by Eileen M. Phelps
In the world, injustice finds a place.
It seems to be a problem within the human race.
Injustice comes in many forms.
At times, it appears injustice exists in all our norms.
How do we see injustice today?
Do we see it in the politics that come into play?
Is it present in what we say?
Can we find a new way?
Injustice will never disappear.
If we don’t speak out without fear
Knowing we can act.
To no longer have injustice be a fact
Recognizing injustice is what I hope to do.
For I have a plan to show you
How we can make a difference
Not allowing injustice to have any endurance.
