About the Book

Slippery slopes are the mindsets, the beliefs, and blind spots that keep us from living our best lives.

Our vision can be clouded, and that’s why we’re often unprepared for the unexpected storms that rock our world.

Karen (Balyeat) Thompson looks back at the slippery slopes in her own life in this book. She highlights the fact that every slippery slope has an antidote.

Even so, every now and then, an avalanche comes up behind us, building momentum and knocking us off balance. We feel buried under the heaviness of it all, and when it comes to our personal storms, we often hide behind them or deny they exist. We hope that, in time, they’ll miraculously go away.

We must not let the waves and the wind control us when God is only a prayer away. He hears the prayers of His children. If you do not have a relationship with God, now is the time to start one.

Join the author as she shares insights, guidance, and lessons on how to overcome any slippery slope with an antidote.
