The old bowl… I have had this bowl for over twenty year. It has moved with us from many place and been filled with Cooper House salads to, pasta and chicken wing. As we feed many friends and family. During a move in recent year one of my older sons asked what I was doing with this particular bowl. I looked and said, well its an old bowl and my new kitchen isn’t very big for storing. I’ll donate it. He then said, mom you can’t donate that bowl. Do you know how many people have eaten out of that bowl and how many memories we made together as we ate from it? I smiled and said, okay son, I’ll keep it and we will make some more memories around this old bowl. You see everything in this life is connected to our memory, good and bad. Let us be parents and grandparents that choose to make good ones to pass down from generation to generation around our tables.

Piranda’s Kitchen, I love you Therefore I Cook is a collection of recipes Jean has made in her kitchen hundreds of times for many friends and family. Many of these recipes have stories and memories attached to them and until this point have never been written down . She shares her heart for her family and for God through her serving food in a good old fashion way in her kitchen.
About the Author
Jean M. Cooper is a mother of ten children, three that are in heaven. She is a Granny of almost nine. She loves children and has opened her home to many not just of her own. She works in local children’s missions in the US and in Romania. She is an author of three children’s book that supports the education mission in Romania and the ministry she partners with, Belief In Motion. Her best sellers is Sophia The Piranda, Alex The Keeper of the Gate and her latest Holiness, Holiness. Jean believes in the simple gathering of family meals and how they build good strong homes and communities. Through her little family stories and recipes, she hopes to touch the heart of families to commune with each other around the kitchen table once more. Many of her recipes have a story that she hopes will encourage you with the simple love that comes in serving our family and friends a meal .
