About the Author

Gabriella Mesiha is a wife and mother of four young children. She has worked extensively with children throughout her career and in Children's Ministry. She studied a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Notre Dame followed by a career in working for a charity helping children with extra needs. Gabriella's passion is to know the word of God and to pass it onto the next generation.

A brief snapshot of Gabriella's journey to God…

Gabriella grew up in rural Western Australia with her Sicilian family. Her childhood was filled with running barefoot on dirt paths, picking mulberries, gooseberries, chasing chickens and sheep and feeding the animals. As a pre-teen her Godmother gave her a copy of a Children's Illustrated Bible and prayed for her, she felt moved by the prayer. Gabriella's Godmother gave her a one page print out of a prayer that she would recite frequently. She had attended a Catholic Sunday school prior to this as a young child, but she had never had a copy of a children's bible, nor felt moved by the Holy Spirit before.

As a young adult she moved to the city to attend University. Her good friend invited her to a Pentecostal Church where she felt moved by the Spirit of God. Gabriella was gifted her first Bible by one of the church members and read it cover to cover a number of times over the years. This ignited a fire inside of her to know more about God and she started attending bible studies, a home group and church regularly, which led her to become a Children's Ministry Leader for a period.

After graduating and then working a while in her chosen career she met her husband to be, an Egyptian Orthodox believer. When you have a relationship with God, denomination is no relevance. They have a beautiful family and Gabriella works from home while raising their children and running the household. In her spare time Gabriella partakes in a personal bible study and loves to learn about the word of God. She has a passion for the truth and sharing Gods love and word with others.
