From section 6, Points of View: The Tree Lesson I am His beloved child, and no one can take me from His hand. This will always be true, because HE DOES NOT CHANGE. I can accept that He is guiding me and I am not a failure, because He lives in me and I am able to love because His Love is alive in me, HE DOES NOT CHANGE. I can be a blessing, bring light, speak peace, and have complete assurance of His call and purpose for my life because HE DOES NOT CHANGE. His Word applies to me today and tomorrow and the next day. His mercy extends to me every time I call out to Him. His grace paves the road I walk. His love is the air I breath. I am in Him, and He is in me because He wants it that way, and HE DOES NOT CHANGE. I don't have to be perfect. I just have to be His, and I become beloved, chosen, royal, holy, and a child of destiny. There's only one reason I can be these things. I live only because He grants me life, and has a purpose for my existence, and HE DOES NOT CHANGE. And I am not alone. I am a citizen of a holy nation, a people of destiny. We will endure to the end because He has decreed it for us, and HE DOES NOT CHANGE!

M. A. Slatton has been active in teaching, music, and prayer ministries for more than four decades. She has been the worship leader in Colorado for the last ten years and an active participant in the Colorado Prays organization.
