Sarah had never had a panic attack, but she was pretty sure she was having one in that moment. She wasn’t ready to be a mother. She didn’t want to be a mother, not yet. She wanted to finish her senior year, cheer in the final cheer competition, go to prom, go to college, join a sorority – not have a baby – and Cole wouldn’t want a baby either, not now. He would want to finish his senior year doing all the things guys do, whatever that was. Sarah couldn’t think straight. As far as her parents were concerned, they wouldn’t be supportive. How could Lilly not realize that? She had known them her whole life. Her parents expected her to be much smarter than this and her father would want to . . . there’s no telling what her father would do to Cole. This was all too much for Sarah and for the first time in her life, she didn’t think Lilly could possibly understand and if Lilly couldn’t understand her situation, then for the first time since Kindergarten, Lilly couldn’t help her. “Lilly, I have to go.” Sarah grabbed the test from the bathroom counter and ran down the hallway, down the stairs, and out to her car. She could hear Lilly chasing after her, calling her name. “Sarah, wait! Sarah, my parents won’t be home for hours. You can stay here and think this through!” Sarah nearly fell down the stairs chasing after her troubled friend. She regained her balance and kept after her. “Sarah, please!” Lilly couldn’t catch up after her stumble. Sarah had pulled out of Lilly’s driveway in a hurry. As she backed out, Lilly caught a glimpse of Sarah’s red, tear-stained face. Her heart ached for her friend. Sarah had gotten herself in a predicament, an unplanned pregnancy. A boyfriend who, Lilly agreed, wasn’t anywhere close to ready to be a father. Sarah wouldn’t be able to compete with her cheer team in the final competition. The routine was much too strenuous. It would be dangerous for Sarah and her baby. The situation was bound to be complicated. Lilly wished like never before that Sarah had trusted Jesus with her life. Will she trust Him now? Lilly could only pray. And she prayed hard.

About the Book
Angela, Jessica, and Sarah are three young women who face three unplanned pregnancies. Emily, a student at Pleasant Grove University, volunteers her time at the local pregnancy care center. The circumstances surrounding each situaton bring them all togeher for one purpose under Heaven, saving lives one heartbeat at a time.
About the Author
Tina lives in the rolling hills of beautiful north Georgia. Some have called her hometown the Gateway to the Smoky Mountains. She has been married to her husband, Steve, since 1991. They have three children and one daughter-in-law on earth and one son in Heaven. They have one granddaughter who Tina says is the sweetest and most beautiful baby on the planet. In 1997, Tina delivered her 15-week baby boy. To this day, Tina recalls every detail of her son’s tiny lifeless body from the top of his head down to his tiny little toes. As she examined her son’s body through her grief, she knew that although she had been firmly planted in her prolife stance in the past, from that moment on there would be no person or no circumstance that could ever change her mind. Tina is a former educator who obtained her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia in 1991. Now, she spends her time writing and enjoying every moment she can get with her new granddaughter. Watching her family grow in faith and numbers is her greatest earthly blessing.
