Become the Spark who Ignites a Roaring Fire!

"We Cannot Live Through Someone Else's Eyes!"

We can read books about grand adventures that others have lived;

but those are not our own adventures.

We listen to stories from those who's lives had many twists and turns;

but those twists and turns did not happen to us.

We grow a little by absorbing information all around us;

but until we actually get up and step outside,

we are missing out on our own grand adventures.

We are afraid of getting hurt, AGAIN;

so we stay inside where it's safe.

We long for freedom;

but we won't risk failure in order to feel any.

We see what others have overcome;

but we cannot seem to take the first steps in our own healing.

We go backward,

instead of moving forward!

There is a much easier path to follow,

which never causes us harm; nor distress;

but it never takes us where we really want to go!

The lives of others may be interesting and varied;

but we each have our own stories; and adventures to tell!

Every great adventure,

starts with disappointment; or loss!

We live in comfort,

until something from the outside disrupts the daily flow of our easy lives!

Each of us has been through many twists and turns ourselves;

but we missed out on the adventures we could have had!

We play it safe, in a world that has no safety!

We don't want to hurt anymore; but we are already in pain!

We think we can't win, so we easily accept the loss!

We are afraid to try; and we give up before we start!

Our great adventure in front of us, has already knocked down the door of our own house;

and it is staring directly into our souls!

We do not have to go anywhere to find an adventure; adventure will ALWAYS come to find us!

We only avoid the adventures this life WILL OFFER EACH OF US, when we turn away; and hide from them!

We are surrounded by: problems; and failures; and pain!

We can only overcome any of them by: facing them; standing up to them; putting God in front of us; taking another deep breath; praying a lot;

and moving forward - one step at a time!

Our own lives can become adventures that someone else will tell someday;

as they imagine what we have already overcome, while looking through their own eyes!

Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Luke 1:37

For nothing will be impossible with God.”
