Swale; a small, poor and dirty village at the very bottom of Mt. Everlast, had become the home of a young boy named David. David didn’t always live here. After he is abandoned by his parents, little David is taken in by Abaddon, an old woman who lives in a poor, dirty village at the bottom of Mt. Everlast. Unfortunately, Abaddon is not loving at all. Although she provides food and shelter for the orphans she takes in, she uses them as slaves. As David works in the fields on a blistering hot day, he stares at Mt. Everlast and dreams of living in the beautiful kingdom with its kindly king. His wish finally comes true when a simple invitation places him on a path to see the king. As he contemplates whether he is worthy enough to come before the king, now only time will tell if David will make it to the royal banquet and whether all the things he has heard about the king are true.
