Read Psalms 28–30. “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11) Dear God, Bless this day with peace, Lord. Remove all worry and anxiety; remove all shame and guilt; remove all sadness and despair; and remove all fear and isolation. Cover us with your peace. Allow us to rest in your arms and receive your almighty strength to march on, persevere, and delight in every second of this beautiful day designed in detail for each of us. Thank you, God, for the gift of this day. I will unwrap it like a present and see the miracles and wonders planned just for me. Thank you for your love, Father. Thank you for your blessing of peace. About the Author
Kate VanPelt is a wife, mother, prayer warrior, teacher, and Christian music lover. Prayers to Papa is the product of a three-year journey of her reading, journaling and praying her way through the Bible. She currently teaches seventh-grade math, which she describes as a ministry unto itself.
