When he went too far away, Momma would call him back, and he would listen quickly and turn around. He was a good swimmer, but he was really excited that one day he would be able to fly up into the sky with the adults. He imagined what it would be like to be so high and to look down at his friends on the pond. He would race with others, and he knew he would be fast. Poppa said that he needed strong feathers on his wings and that someday he would have them; then he could join the other ducks in the sky.

About the Book
The mind of a child is a precious thing filled with hope, imagination and wonder. This story will focus on leading the child into the direction of who God has created him/her to be. Dalan finds joy in seeing himself as he was meant to be. He can never be a goose as he was made to be a duck. He realizes he was led to believe wrongly by Gallo and focuses on who he truly is… a duck. Let children be children.
About the Author
The author grew up at the feet of his grandfather listening to his many stories of adventure in his travels. He has also enjoyed story-telling to his children and grand-children and now wants to continue with his first children’s book of Dalan the Duck. The author hopes to help boys and girls enjoy the innocence of childhood and help parents in defining clear boundaries for their trusting children.
