This book, Revisiting Jesus Christ's Continuing Humanity Its Implications and Applications, is a biblical thought I have had for a while now. I understand that the subjects of divinity and the humanity of Christ have received a lot of attention since the first century. Additionally, most evangelicals agree that right now, presently, Jesus continues as a human in heaven. Some scholars agree with that fact, yet some disagree. Some hold that Jesus is a perfect man in heaven yet he is not coming back. Some hold that Jesus ceased to be human upon his ascension. So, which view is valid and biblical? Additionally, if Jesus continues as a human, what implications would that have for believers and Jesus himself? This book explores the notion of Christ continuing humanity from the early church fathers to contemporary scholars. It was concluded that scholars scarcely touched on the issue, but merely assumed it. It is not a new thought, thus, ‘Revisiting,’ but in a new way. This study will fill the partially discussed link in systematic theology on Christ’s continuing humanity. The implications and conclusions are so telling. I hope scholars and theologians and people of all walks of life enjoy this book.

About the Book
Most readers are familiar with Jesus’ deity and His humanity while He was here on the earth, but they seldom consider the fact of His continuing humanity. Dr. Nasongo investigates the insufficient treatment of this subject from the time of the Apostolic Fathers to the present, and then he presents the biblical evidence for Christ’s continuing humanity. In the process, he demonstrates its relationship to apologetics, hermeneutics, and systematic theology, with a special emphasis on eschatology.
About the Author
Dr. Patrick Nasongo is a professor of the New Testament and Greek Bible. He is the author of The Fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant: A Hermeneutical and Exegetical Analysis of Three Evangelical Views. Dr. Nasongo is an ordained minister and travels frequently to teach and preach the Word. He currently teaches at Virginia Bible College.
