In this book, I will speak about God’s salvation plan for mankind, put forth through the knowledge of and observance of His Holy days. The majority of which are mentioned in Leviticus 23. Using New Testament scriptures, I will show you that both Jesus and His disciples kept these days, as they were mostly of Jewish descent from the start; but more importantly, that as Jesus said, “…salvation is of the Jews.” (John 4:22). Speaking namely about Himself, being the Saviour of the whole world, and Messiah, the Christ, of His kingly descent from King David, and in general from the tribe of Judah; but also, that the commandments God gave, of the Old Testament, have not been “done away with”, completely. It is these commands of God that give us life, with a firm foundation in the knowledge of and acceptance of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as the Saviour of the whole world, first and foremost. As Jesus said of Himself, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Matt. 5:17). It is through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that we have eternal life; do not be mistaken about that. But with this knowledge and greater understanding of God’s salvation plan through the signs in the Holy Days; we can have a better understanding of the “greater detail” of God’s salvation plan. I speak of, namely, prophesy and the knowledge of things to come in this world, and ultimately in “the world to come.” (Col. 2:17). With that all being said, take time to read through the chapters of this book. In the end, the gospel message is simple, Jesus made it simple. As He said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Alleluia and praise the LORD. Amen and Amen.
So in this book, I will touch on the solar and lunar calendars that are used today for keeping days, months, seasons and years. And then, I will go into the details of the Holy days, that are kept by the lunar calendar; which are as the Bible says, “…a shadow of things to come…” (Col. 2:17). Although much of the signs of these Holy days have been fulfilled, including Passover and the Days of Unleavened bread, and partially Pentecost, in the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; we await the final fulfillment of the purpose and signs of the fall feast days: the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles, including the Last Great Day (Lev. 23). It is in all of these days, that we see the message of salvation in Jesus Christ of Nazareth at Passover in 31 A.D., the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Pentecost in 31 A.D.; and then at some point in time to come, the “Great Tribulation”, the “Messianic Age”, and last, the final day of Judgement with the “...new heavens and a new earth…”, and the new Jerusalem, shown in the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles with the Last Great day, respectively; as of the date of writing this book in 2019 A.D. (Lev. 23, Rev. 21:1, 2). This may seem like a lot of information, but the remainder of the chapters of this book, explain in greater detail, each Holy day and its purpose, in the Old Testament time, today and prophetically into the future. And how Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s life here on earth, has fulfilled and been involved in all of these Holy Days of Leviticus 23. Alleluia and praise the LORD. Amen and Amen.
First, I will speak about the beginning, regarding God’s creation history, with the sun and the moon, and then I will go on to talk about the seventh day God created for rest and sanctified to be Holy (Gen. 1:14-19, 2:2, 3). This simple, seventh day of rest, is the key to understanding the “bigger” picture of God’s ultimate salvation message; as there is a 7000 year plan, God has for the inhabitants of this present earth’s history, before the final resurrection and judgement (Rev. 20:11-15). This is the key to understanding where we are in human history, and understanding the “greater” plan God has for earth and mankind, in general. That is there is a 1000 year period of rest and peace, that has not yet taken place, as of the date of writing this book in 2019 A.D., some refer to as the “Messianic age”, as mentioned earlier (Rev. 20:4, 6). As the Bible says, 1000 years can be like a day for God, so it is in this seventh day, the last 1000 years of God’s salvation plan for mankind here on earth, that the earth and all whom inhabit it will receive a rest, and peace, from all sorts of evil that it has endured, the last approximately 6000 years that mankind has been “working” out our salvation, so to speak (Ps. 90:4, Phil. 2:12, 2 Pet. 3:8, Rev. 20:4, 6). God has given us the opportunity to subdue the earth, “rule” it, and have “…dominion…” over it (Gen. 1:28). Mankind has done many things throughout this time; our ancestors, Adam and Eve, fell in the Garden of Eden and the land was cursed, then the flood came, and the curse was taken from the land, after this God chose Abraham and his seed to continue His salvation message to this fallen world (Gen. 3, 6, 7, 17:9). It is through Isaac, Jacob, renamed Israel, then Judah, then King David of Judah, and other Old Testament prophets and then Jesus Christ of Nazareth, a descendant of King David, and His chosen disciples that this message would and does continue unto today (Matt. 1, 28:18-20). So keep this in mind when reading through the chapters and appendices of this book...
