“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” Genesis 1:16

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men though him might believe. “ John 1:4-7


Lord, thank you for the sacrifice of Your only begotten Son. The cherished One of the Father given in love to rescue a filthy and hopelessly corrupt race. Without You Lord, there is only darkness within our hearts and an unquenchable void. Thank you for piercing the darkness as those soldier’s pierced Your side Jesus. As we as humans gave up entirely on ever having a Saviour, You smiled and in three days we finally saw Your greatest miracle. Jesus became the divine fullness and completion of Your Salvation plan and thus became the Light of the world. May our eyes be ever watching each day to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and walk faithfully.
