Hold On.
“So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, ‘It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.’ The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip” (Genesis 32:30). I bet Jacob never fully forgot that place. The hills, the terrain, the colors, the breeze, the smell in the air. The place where he wrestled with God, refused to let go, and got a brand-new name. What are you holding on to God for? Are you weary from praying, tired of asking? I truly believe God loves it when we hold on in persistent faith. May I encourage you to just keep holding on. Keep praying. Keep asking. Then, when He shows up and does only what He can do, you will remember the place, the bursting of your heart, the tears that cry in utter praise! He is worthy, able, and willing. Keep holding on.

About the Author
Kristi grew up surrounded by the beauty of Western North Carolina. Nestled in the valley among glorious landscapes, mountainous streams and glowing sunsets she began her life journey. At a young age, God began to move by revealing himself through creation and His written Word. Throughout her life, God has used his Word powerfully to teach, love and order her steps. Through challenging and uncertain times, it was promise filled scripture that offered hope. Her art career was a surprise in 2010, something she never had imagined! With her love for color, design and God’s Word, she believes her passion truly met her purpose. With that same directing, “The Offering” was birthed within her heart in October 2020. She has been happily married to her college sweetheart since 1999 and now has three amazing boys who are 19, 18 and 15. She resides in Collierville Tennessee with her precious family. Her life verse is Ephesians 3:20, and she believes it with all her heart. “Now unto him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us..”
