It is Christmas season of 2021, starting December 20th, I have this overwhelming need to write, I think at first maybe a journal, but no, the urge is stronger than that, maybe a blog, but no the urge is stronger than that too…
Then it hits me, I want to write the book, the one I said I would write is 5-10 years from now when I have a wealth of wisdom to share. This need to write transcends time, it defies the idea I need a wealth of knowledge to share my story, my inner most struggles and journey. I realize also it doesn’t need to be perfect and I can write my book in a week.
So, the journey begins, I write, and this book is the result of that urge to write.
I journey back to my 17-year-old self, it’s a tale of self-discovery.

Sometimes, we need to go back to where it all began and walk forward from there with the knowledge we have in the present.
In this book, Pelumi shares her journey to self discovery which required her revisiting her childhood and teenagehood memories. She shares how her childhood insecurities build up and define her world views.
The journey to a rebirth of self requires she discover self-love, compassion and the love of her saviour.
