The Ascent and Reign of Antichrist

Daniel 12:4 Reads: “But thou o Daniel shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

Daniel was told to “Seal up the book, even to the time of the end,” which means the Book of Daniel was to be a mystery until the time of the end. Nobody would be able to understand it until such time as we got closer to the end of the Age. We are now much closer to the end of the Age knowledge has dramatically increased as to what the mysteries in the book of Daniel and Revelation are all about. As a result there has been a great resurgence of interest in eschatology or future things to come. Most of the “increase of knowledge” has come from those Biblical scholars who hold to Pre-millennial and Dispensational Theology.

In passing, if the prophecy in Daniel is true and the book of Daniel was sealed until the time of the end, than Eschatology must be of a progressive nature. By that, I mean that the closer we get to the “time of the end,” the more information will be revealed, and what was believed 100 years ago must of necessity increase to include and accommodate the revelation given by God. Eschatology which does not reflect this must by definition be error. You must ask yourself, “does my Eschatology reflect a fluid and progressive nature of Daniel’s prophecy, or is my system of interpretation stuck in the past and therefore error. “

We always hear how Pre-millennial doctrine is “new”, that it was “invented” in recent years by Darby in the 1800’s, and popularized by the Scofield Reference Bible. But, what was meant by Daniel’s prophecy: “But thou o Daniel shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end.” And again “… he said, go thy way Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end,” and “knowledge shall be increased.” What knowledge? The mysteries of the truth taught in the Book of Daniel.

These mysteries would not be revealed until the time of the end. And so, it is quite natural that knowledge of the details of the end time would be increasingly revealed the closer we get to the end. And therefore, it is quite natural for Pre-millennial doctrine to be emphasized the closer we get to the end of the Age.

This work is all about the increased knowledge spoken of in the Book of Daniel. We have the advantage of not only knowing about Antiochus Epiphanes being a “type” of Antichrist, but we also now know about Adolph Hitler being a “type” of Antichrist. We have witnessed the return of the Nation of Israel back to her ancient land in 1948. We are witnessing changes in the political and cultural landscapes of today that point to the soon return of Christ. Because we are now so much closer to the end of the Age, we can see and understand so much more about the coming holocaust called the “Tribulation” and the signs of the soon appearance of “Antichrist.” We are living in the most exciting time in Church history as we look forward to the consummation of all things. “Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!”

What this book will reveal:

• A Bible based chronological account of the Human being who in the very near future will be revealed, and who will in a very short period of time rise to the pinnacle of power and rule the world.

• He will be Human; he will be a person who will be indwelt by the Devil himself. He will claim to be the Jewish Messiah and will imitate Christ in all that he does.
