There are many steps we need to take next. There are only two different directions to go: the path toward righteousness and the path away from righteousness.
God did not send Jesus to condemn us, for we are already condemned—we are already going in the wrong direction. God sent Jesus to us so that we are able to turn around and follow God and go toward the eternal life promised to us. That is the first step.
But what about the next step … and the step after that … and the step after that?
Most people know about the first step, but too many get tripped up on the subsequent steps of their journey. This book urges you to look at where you’ve been, where you’re going, and how you plan to get there.
