Flattery did not begin with you. For centuries people have been enticing each other to hook up one way or another. This day and time is no different from yesterday in time. Your answer can still be no. You have a choice to wait. Be anxious for nothing and pray about everything. Philippians 4:6-8 The foolish will not stand in the sight of God Psalm 5:5 and Psalm 10
Anyone who wants something they can't have will try to flatter you with their tongue until they get it. They can't wait to give you all of their insincere praise for their own interst. But their throat is an open spulcher. It is an open grave. Psalm 5:9 Not a word from their mouth will produce life. They spew out lies. They can't be trusted. When they open their mouth all the words coming forth is as lifeless as the grave. It brings no life or light. No joy. Just darkness and destruction at the end of the day.

If you pick up someone elses' beliefs what will you do with your own? You must believe that whomever you choose to walk with; hing out with is doing what you believe which puts you both in agreement. But who or what are you agreeing with? Whatever you stand for defines who you are.
We have to acknowledge God in all our ways. From the food we eat to the way we dress. From the way we think to the words we speak. Making the right choice defines what you believe. It will define your life. This is between you and God; coming to Him the way He wants and not like you please.
