The shepherd went down to the west. No Sammy. He went to the south. No Sammy. He went to the east and there was Sammy drinking water out of the stream with the wolf watching on the other side! Sammy did not see the wolf yet. Quietly the wolf tiptoed across the stream closer to Sammy.

About the Book
Sammy is missing, his mother is hysterical. The shepherd never loses any of his sheep, he searches under and over the other sheep. In desperation the shepherd puts an elder sheep in charge of the flock to go search for the wandering lamb. Where will he find this wayward lamb, where has he gone?
