Golden Days

Healing always leaves brokenness way better than it found it! God allows things to break so that things are better than before. He takes the old away and exchanges it for something new and more delightful. God gives us beauty in exchange for our brokenness. If healing is beautiful, then the healer is beautiful. God does beautiful works, because he is beautiful.

He heals us completely so that we can be useful for his work. We are likened to gold and silver if we live a life worthy of complete devotion to him. When we are whole, it is the only time that we can completely give our hearts, time and energy to God. People who are not fully accepting of God’s healing power are less likely to be all in for his glory.

I’d like to imagine that we walk around golden, when we know who we are in him and when we walk in his ways. We are truly golden people if we live for him. Our God is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the beginning and the end. He is royalty. That should say it all. We are his valued people. We are the people of his pasture. He esteems us highly as a set apart people. His Son died for us, which makes us a gem in his beautiful sight!
