The Lord is my Shepherd. I have followed Him in the path of his righteousness, but I have also fallen astray like a lost sheep… There have been times that I am weak and weary, but there have been other days where I am close to the heavenly Father, and I am strong and faithful. He has pick me up and delivered me many, many times. While walking, I have seen other paths beside the path to the Kingdom of God. I have gone through these paths when He has warned me, but some I have said to Him, “I want to try going that way. I will come back and catch up”. I would walk away through these paths, fail, and walked back to Him. And He is there…waiting for me…as a loving Father.
My heavenly Father and I have walked through plains, mountains, deserts, jungles, beaches, and on top of cliffs to the bottom of the valley of the shadow of death. But I have not feared because He is by my side. I have also been attacked by the devil and his minions. Pushed… tortured… fought… and beaten by the devil’s deceitful words and schemes. Similar to the time that Satan had attacked and fought Job. A man who was healthy and had wealth, and who loved the Lord. Until Satan attacked his health, his prosperity, and his relationship with God. Satan had brought Job death to his family, poverty to his riches, and… sickness to his health. It is noticed that sickness is a part of sin nature from the fall of Humanity and the attack of Satan. The devil has done the same to me, as he made a bet against me to the Lord just like Job his attacks and trials that he had. Satan tried his best to destroy Job and his relationship with God, but Job had hold on his faith with God, and Satan failed his plots and schemes against him. Nothing could separate the power of the love and relationship in between of the Lord and Job. Remember what James wrote, “My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed, we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful” (James 5:10-11, NKJV). The devil has plotted against me too. The devil wanted to hurt and torture me so that I would be defeated and give up on the Lord. But the Lord was faithful to me as His adopted son. God knew of my faithfulness to Him and that I would never give up on him, like Job. Job was tortured by the devil, but his faithfulness was on the Lord. God would change what was evil of the devil’s plots for me to His own good that would bring victory for me. So, the devil has tried to hurt me and destroy me, but he has failed miserably… My name is Thomas Ethan Hamilton Gary and this is my testimony that changed my life forever.

About the Book
Ethan Gary was a twelve-year old boy living a normal Christian life serving the Lord. Until several trials changed his life forever. Ethan had to face the trials with his faith and perseverance in the Lord through it all, victory over-came. This is based on true testimony of Ethan’s life journey, God’s grace and deliverance, and miraculous healing from the Lord Jesus Christ. On May 22, 2008, Ethan was riding a horse, it ended in a terrifying accident. The Lord healed him. What seemed to be impossible through the report of the doctors became possible by the Lord. As well as the recovery from the horse accident, Ethan has faced many other trials and battles, but God delivered and restored him to be strong physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually through blessings and miracles. Ethan’s many testimonies in his life are to give encouragement to others to have hope and reassurance of the victory in the Lord who will deliver, rescue, and heal them.
About the Author
Ethan is a theologian, guest speaker, writer, helper, and a cowboy. He is a loving man seeking the Lord daily. He has always loved the Lord with all his heart, since he was five years old when he was born-again. During his senior year in high school, Ethan completely surrendered to the Lord and began his journey to serve God by sharing the Bible and his testimony with others. Ethan began studies the Bible and theological principles. He started with a year at Charis Bible College and achieved the first-year program. In 2017 he began studies at Grand Canyan University while at night studying at Internation School of the Word (ISOW). He achieved five different cerifications (End Times Prophecies, Hebrew Roots, Theology, Ministerial studies, and Books of the Bible) through biblical studies. Ethan graduated from Grand Canyon University at the same school year that he finished Charis Bible College second year program. Ethan achieved from Grand Canyon University a bachelor’s degree on Christian studies with a minor of global ministry, and an associate degree from Charis Bible College of biblical studies.
