After the surgery, I sat at home thinking how am I going to get out of this mess. Darkness consumed me. I contemplated ending my life again once again my life felt without purpose. What was the point in continuing? I truly had no way to pay for any of the things I needed to pay for. My marriage was in ruin. My family barely knew me. It all seemed so bleak. That was when I felt the most amazing light come over me. I knew it was Jesus. I said, “If you can make something of this mess that I have made of my life, it is yours.”
