Finding My Purpose, Finding My Way in Life

What does it mean to find my purpose? It means doing and finding joy in what we do because we are able to do the best with what we got, every day. It means competing with myself to be better every day, one day at a time. It means performing at the best level I can deliver the results that I seek. In order to perform to the best of my abilities, I must know what those skills and abilities are and also why I want to make an effort to realize my potential and maximize these abilities. Does it mean I have to deliver all A’s all the time in all subjects, as a student, in all classes? It does not necessarily means all As. Does it mean that I am constantly comparing to the results that others produced?, not necessarily. What it matters is what I can learn about what I can do well and with joy. The most important outcome of my life is what I learn and how I improve and become to develop the best version of me, and serve others, as who I am and what I have.

Does it mean I have to go to College to be successful?; Not necessarily. I have many choices.

My goal with this book is to help you identify what are your choices and help you make decisions about what you want to become in your future. It should be a combination of God’s will, and your God given will, your talents and the desires, dreams and aspirations of your heart. My objective with this book is to share ideas with you and stimulate your mind and your heart. Perhaps you have read or experienced some of these ideas. The subjects addressed here are not new or ground breaking. During the following chapters, I will share some of my personal experiences about learning and growing. I will also bring to the discussion the experiences of many other individuals, all of which are experts on their fields, in order to reach out to your inner most places; in your mind and your heart. Perhaps during this process of sharing ideas and experiences I can help you by bringing light which will guide you to discover and develop your potential, define your purpose and how to make it come to be, your reality.

How important is to find a purpose for my life? My hope is that I am able to help answer this and other important questions for you and most importantly, that you are able to answer this question for yourself. If you decide to be a student, on whatever subject you chose, to know that you do have choices and you are capable and have what it takes already. All you have to do is believe, imagine it, and decide to do it, plan it and get into action; work hard and overcome whatever obstacles you will find. The fact is that we are students in life, all our life, even before we are born we are learning and this learning process ends when our life on this planet comes to an end.
