About the Author
AUTHOR: Wayne David Lewis born in East Tennessee. He served 62 years in the United Methodist Church pastorate in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. He and his late wife, Betty, reared two children, now adults, Wesley DeWayne Lewis and Whitney Diann Adams. Whitney and husband Josh Adams, have two sons, Gavin and Harrison. David was former professor and Dean at Tennessee Wesleyan University and professor, chaplain at Hiwassee College. He holds AA degree from Hiwassee, BA from Lincoln Memorial University, MCE and M.Div from Emory University and DD from Tennessee Wesleyan University.
COVER ARTIST: Joe David Cornelius of Flagstaff, Arizona, is the artist who designed the cover of this book. He is a well know artist and illustrator in Arizona and the surrounding states. He has done numerous murals throughout the United States. He did a cloudscape on the ceiling of a church in Virginia and a mural of the Resurrected Christ in a church in Powell, Tennessee.
