The fine line between aloneness, and loneliness. I have experienced both in my life. Though they are the same, they are quite different. There are times that I’m alone, but so much peace, and contentment. And many, many times I’m lonely in a room full of people. I think it may come down to my spiritual condition. At that moment there are still times I feel lonely, but since I invited God into my life I’m no longer alone. And neither are you. God is here for you and so am I. We can do together what I can never do alone....

About the Book
War Within (the series) is a collection of poems, thoughts, and reflections from the heart, mind, and spirit of Michael Bane. It’s basis is the battle that’s within me, and many others. I hope it helps someone who may read it, as much as it helped me writing it.
About the Author
Michael is in recovery from drugs, and alcohol. He started writing the same time he started his recovery journey. His hopes are that you may relate to some of his experiences, and be helped along the way.
