During a time when so many people are learning to speak their truths, there are still certain social and religious cultures that bury their thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Regarding the topic of relationships with fathers, it is time to dig up those thoughts and feelings and have a conversation. It is time to move beyond the hurt to healing and wholeness.

About the Author

TL is an adult who wants to share what she is learning along her journey of healing. Things that she would have wanted to discuss were not always considered appropriate conversation. The time has long since passed for certain conversations to occur. TL hopes that things she has learned regarding her turbulent relationship with her father can help someone else who is seeking to overcome obstacles created by similar turbulent relationships.
