I wanted to know all I could find out about the Rapture and everywhere I turned I found different interpretations and different theories but knew one thing for sure—they couldn't all be right. And as many had clear Scriptural foundation, or at least they appeared to, then likely they aren't all completely wrong. So, I began reading many different books on the subject and going through the Bible for what God actually said, and searching the internet for the opinions of yet other pastors.
I found where some pastors, and others, had compared some combination of them, which gave me additional outlook. In short, I looked to many different sources, some of which are not quoted here though they did help to inform my opinion.
I am not trying to offend anyone, or provoke personal attacks on myself or anyone else, which sadly needs to be said in the cancel culture going on. I am simply trying to do what I feel God is leading me to do and express a theory which seems to be unique yet founded on the Scriptural foundation of the others combined. I took all of what they said, which was actually biblical, and found this at the end of the search.
I firmly believe that the reason for all the different interpretations of this single issue is due to the fact that God said for Daniel to seal the words of the scroll until the end days. (Daniel 12:4) For that reason I don't think that God intended for people to see the truth until the end days had arrived. Many pastors believe that this is the end times, and I wholeheartedly agree. Maybe the reason no one has agreed on this particular issue over all these years since Christ walked the earth was simply that God didn't want anyone to understand it until the time was right.
With that thought in mind I began to realize many of these theories were long standing theories, so maybe they aren't exactly right as the truth was possibly still hidden. As Billy Graham said, “Many of the passages I used to think were symbolic I now see as obvious evidence of the approaching storm.” Maybe, as more people look into the prophecies with fresh eyes rather than long-standing theories, the truth will begin to shine through. Hopefully this book will provoke exactly that. It certainly is not meant to cause conflict or controversy. This book is simply to explain my theory and to say why I feel that way.
