What in your life do you MAX OUT? Family Life? Work Life? School? Church? Sports? Vacation?
What do you want your PAY OUT to be? Building better relationships? Having a bigger paycheck? Growing with Christ? Your favorite TEAM winning a championship? Better Grades?
This book will challenge you to examine the things in your life you want to MAX OUT and to think about what you want your PAY OUT to be, blessing you with scripture to memorize and a MOPOLIFE quote to help you gain a better understanding of what it means to MOPO the DAY!
“I’m all In.” What are the things in your life where you can answer, “I’m all in?” In your family life? In your work place? In your Christian walk? With your friends? In your prayer life? When you are trying to exercise and lose weight? When you say the words, “I’m all in,” you bring an enthusiasm and an attitude that shows you are a force to be reckoned with. You set a standard for yourself to show up and bring your best effort. When you answer with the words, “I’m all in,” you are on your way to the start of Living the MOPO LIFE. What is the MOPO LIFE? The MOPO LIFE is living your best life each day. The goal of MOPO is to start each day with a thankful heart, knowing you have been blessed with a new day and new opportunity to take on with a positive attitude whatever the day brings. At the end of the day, you can be content in giving your best effort. The MOPO LIFE represents living freely in Christ.
MOPO stands for MAX OUT PAY OUT. When you are living life and MAXING OUT each day with your best effort, there will be a PAY OUT for you. This can apply to many things in life:
Your Family – As a father/mother, when you spend time with your kids (MAX OUT) and really support them. Your PAY OUT will be growing in your relationship with them and seeing your kids thrive and make the most of their lives.
Your Work – Giving your best each day at work (MAX OUT) will result in an actual pay check for you (PAY OUT). Hopefully, it will also result in growing relationships and having an impact on others (PAY OUT).
Teaching/Coaching- Being prepared with a plan each day and carrying out your plan (MAX OUT) with your student-athletes will result in a PAY OUT. They will improve and grow in their class/sport.
Sports – Playing sports brings on many opportunities to compete, to build relationships, and to grow in your craft (MAX OUT). The PAY OUT can be winning a big game, forming a lifelong friendship, or living with the satisfaction that you have given your all.
Exercise – Taking time to stay active — walking, jogging, biking, or using an elliptical (MAX OUT) — will result in a PAY OUT of being in better physical shape and better mental toughness.
Walk with Christ – When you spend time in prayer, reading your Bible, memorizing scripture, and serving (MAX OUT), your PAY OUT will be growing in Christ and being closer to Him.
Relationships – Investing in relationships and taking time to really get to know people (MAX OUT) will result in deeper bonds and friendships formed (PAY OUT).
MOPO also stands for MAX OUT PASS OUT. This can apply in a few areas of your life:
Raising Kids - As a father of four kiddos, I understand the ups and downs of parenting. I continue to learn. There are some days you struggle to survive. When your six-month old doesn’t know their days from their nights, you might be ready to pull your hair out at three o’clock in the morning. You are in survival mode. You are MAXING OUT and your body is ready to PASS OUT.
Your Worries & Anxieties - The goal here is to MAX OUT your positive thoughts and to PASS OUT your negative ones. By keeping your thoughts on things of significance, it will allow you to live out your best MOPO LIFE.
This book is designed to have a positive influence on your day. It is filled with thoughts on the MOPO LIFE and Bible verses to sew in your hearts. While not every Bible verse relates directly to the MOPO LIFE saying, there is wisdom in each verse. One challenge I would give you is to memorize the verse for each day. Write it down, put it on your mirror, and interact with it. As you do this, you will continue down the road of your best MOPO LIFE.
The book is also sprinkled with everyday people — coaches, teachers, administrators, and ministers — and their thoughts on LIVING OUT the MOPO LIFE.
