Pray Before You Dive In!
Heavenly Father, I come before you to thank you for this day that you have given me. Thank you for all of the pain and struggle that is used to build my character. I ask you to open my mind, heart, and soul to every single message in this book. I ask that you reveal the things that I need to work on and you help me find my purpose if I haven’t figured it out already. I ask you to soften my heart and keep me open to learning what it is you would like to teach me. Please protect my family and help us all break these generational curses, together or separated. Thank you for bringing this book, “Humble Pain” into my life. Nothing in life is a coincidence and I believe this book is purposeful for me. Please forgive me for my sins and open my eyes to what they are so that I don’t repeat those sins. In Jesus name, I pray with love, amen.

About the Book
“Humble Pain” is aimed toward people who struggle with depression and anxiety. This book is meant to be read daily, one page at a time. Each page is a piece of advice taken from letters from my father, Ricardo Concepcion, to help each and every one of us to get through the day. Stop worrying about tomorrow, today has enough troubles of it’s own.
About the Author
Prisilla Concepcion is a woman who grew up without her parents. Her father and her were closer than anyone else she was in contact with, her heart ached for him daily. He was sent to prison when she was only two years old and all she remembers is visiting him in prison. Those were some of the best days of her life. She knows everyone makes mistakes but she also learned that drugs change a persons identity completely. Her father should be free and they should be conquering the world together. But, God has other plans. She lived in a depressive state for the majority of her life and she finally came to a point where she needed to change her life for the better. That’s when she created “Humble Pain”. Instead of being depressed she decided to use one of her skills which was writing, to turn an ugly situation into some-thing beautiful. Her goal is to inspire others to do the same.
