The buzz was we would be closing school for a couple weeks to give time for the rooms to be sanitized. My friends and I thought we’d be back to school in time for senior day. When we left school on March 13, 2020, we laughed and said, “See ya later.”

About the Book
Kim is a high school senior scheduled to graduate, only to have life interrupted by the coronavirus. Along this journey, she connects with her grandma, who reminds her that prayer is the key to unlock the door.
About the Author
The author Barbara A. Jones is an Associate Minister in Maryland. It was during the coronavirus experience and praying with the Prayer Ministry she was inspired to write this book. Barbara tapped into a memory of her mother praying and it helped anchor her during some of the hardest moments of COVID-19. It took belief and faith to help sustain her sanity.
