The Honor of Kings

Timothy is the only child in his family with no middle name. I wrote this song on a bike ride along Cypress Creek in Spring Texas during the winter. Being from western New York it was odd for me to hear songbirds so active in this season.
Timothy invited me to his mom’s house for Christmas dinner. I had a great time. Such a tiny house for eight children raised by a Godly mother and Father. It was true, his brother stopped by in his HPD uniform.
Then I saw a picture of his brother with President Bush. Alberto was not at his mom’s home for dinner, but I thought God is amazing! I am having dinner with the highest law enforcement authority in America, the Attorney General’s praying mother! A rare event for this abnormal person (me) had occurred.
The church grew and it was apparent I should leave because many new members were men convinced about second chances only repentance offers after serving time. I felt I may cause them to hold back because of me being in Law Enforcement. I had only myself been studying the Word of God for 6 years and law enforcement less than two years. And it was time for me to step out of the Tomb of Jesus.
