Seek His Face
When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
Psalm 27:8 (KJV)
When we seek the face of God, we will discover greater things than we ever imagined. God is our peace, the eye in the hurricane. He expels the concerns at the core of our existence. It is His disposition to bless just as it is a part of our character to receive with gratefulness. This is a key to lock fit, orchestrated prior to the formation of the earth. We glorify God by appreciatively receiving His blessings. When we have endured the seek and find Him we become satiated, for the ultimate objective of our search is Christ. We feel at ease because we are designed to need Him. We can’t allow trivial matters to cloud our focus, as when we do, we push God out of our peripheral vision. We then behave as one abandoned when God is still there watching and waiting for us to recognize His presence. God’s light is there to brighten every circumstance we will meet. Our goal must be to include Him in every event of our lives to live more vividly. Absolutely nothing should be allowed to hinder our search for Him.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come into Your presence with the mindset to seek and find You. We appreciate all that You have done for us and the blessings that You give us each day. Lord, You are our peace and our help; we run to You, and we are saved from our destruction. Jesus, we look to You our source and ask You to cleanse us. Father, wash our eyes of every demonic blockade placed before us to block our vision of the things You have done on our behalves. God, You have done so much for us, yet we missed it because our attention was placed elsewhere. As we seek You, Abba, take us outside of our limited selves and take us deeper into Your midst. In Jesus' name. Amen.
