About the Book
In my picture book, Mommy, Who Do I Look Like?, a young girl questions her mother about where she gets her physical traits and personality. She is curious about her hair color, big ears, and long toes. Eventually she discovers that she is an original and the only person made exactly like her.
About the Author
Maura Gerard is a retired elementary school teacher whose love of reading and writing motivated her to publish a children’s book. Growing up as an adopted child, she was curious, asked many questions and wondered who she looked like. These questions became this children’s book. She lives in Bowling Green, KY with her husband, Don, and enjoys reading books to her grandson, Cullen James.
