Sometimes I remember my old friends, now deceased, and where the path they chose led them. Our stories converged and mingled for a time. Our activities started as recreation, something we did for fun. Then we bought the Satanic lie and believed it was all right because others were doing it and getting away with it, and indulged ourselves further. Today, my “friends” reside in a place of suffering, agony, and regret. There, but for the grace of The Almighty God, go I! The only difference between us is that mine is a life (that has indeed been) redeemed!

About the Author
Denise Worrell is a Bahamian entrepreneur, ministry leader, Counsellor, writer, singer, University lecturer, wife, and mother. She loves the Lord and serves Him faithfully each day. She is married to Paul Worrell, an Elder at Calvary Bible Church and Christian Counsellor at the Christian Counselling Center, where they both serve. Denise enjoys reading, writing, and making teas as well as other native Bahamian products.
