The purpose of this book Is to encourage individuals to get rid of the doubts regarding the existence of God the Arthur had chose God when as a child there was no other person to turn to for emotional support and basic one on one relationship .. This was not because her guardian did not love and care but she was not aware of those emotional needs since herself had not benefitted from this kind of nurturing. She like many parents believe satisfying the physical needs are the most important.

She grew up in Church and attendance was a must on Sundays and it was this opportunity that exposed her to the bible and the teachings of God. When she was lonely she resort to reading the bible and praying and asking God many questions. However, this was not enough to quell the needs. One day she became so alone that she did something just to gain some attention and company. A few days after the incident she had a strange vision while sleeping. For unknown reasons the write had never shared this with anyone but it was vivid in her mind all her life. However, it was only recently the holy spirit inspired her one morning as she opened her eyes, to share not only that experience but all the spiritual experiences regarding prayer and fasting.

There have been several experiences of deliverance when she found herself at the edge of cliffs in various ways to include joblessness, homelessness or even as simple as getting lost in the middle of nowhere. Patience is also important because when difficulty is experienced it is easy to resort to other means outside of God to solve the problem, but this writer waited because moving to a lower level of life is something most persons will not tolerate. This concern is mainly due to concern about what others will think but somehow those things did not matter at all to the writer who believes firmly that God will deliver.

What is amazing is that her faith grew so strong that even without financial or moral support she prayed and worked and achieved a lot in terms of education and job. She even traveled to foreign countries without any relative to receive her and got into real difficulties and was rescued every time by strangers. Strangers who asked for nothing. Also she had never gave up on God’s power because he became the only friend and close relative she knew. She learnt at the church she got baptized many years ago that she can talk to God via Jesus just as if he were sitting beside her and she tried it and it worked. The key to establishing a friendship with heavenly father is to be focus and to treat him as real . also to be obedient to his instructions in the bible. One of these is to love one another as he has loved. This means no conditions. It also requires humility and forsaking and displeasing all other. The creator is no. 1 in terms of pleasing not even self. It is by following these steps that the reality of his existence will be experienced. He requires total respect and loyalty.

Spirituality is a process and like everything else it is not easy but it is worth the sacrifice in the end. It is not a quick fix rather it’s a journey. For example in order to be successful in any chosen profession one has to study for the required years and after graduation the journey continues because there is need to hone the particular skill. Many start courses and drop out because they lack the discipline required to continue to the end. The same principle applies to the spiritual world and the establishment of a link with the creator of the Universe.

The book discusses the importance of spiritual gifts and how to obtain them the world are based on the love for money but if we start loving God first those things will eventually have less meaning.
