“How was school today?” His mom asked.
“It was ok.” Billy said with a shrug of his shoulders.
“Just ok?”
“Yeah, just normal.” He would much rather think about maybe ending up at the park on this walk, sliding down the slide, or catching frogs in the pond behind his house, just about anything other than schoolwork.
“Do you remember this song?” His mom sang, “My God is so big! So strong and so mighty! There’s nothing my God cannot do!”
“Kind of. It’s been a really long time since I’ve heard that one!”
“Well, looking out at that great big ocean, I’m reminded that our God is a REALLY BIG God!”

Billy does not enjoy having to do school work. His mom helps him understand that God has a purpose for his life and wants him to do well.
About the Author
Connie has always enjoyed writing. As her faith has grown, so has her writing, so that now she is writing with a purpose - to help others grow in their relationship with God. Specifically, God has given her a love for children, having taught Sunday School for many years, and her desire is to help all who will live a joyful life, abiding in Him.
